New Mexico Donor Services Wins “Best Nonprofit” by ABQ The Magazine

This meaningful recognition, from readers of our beloved community, underscores the impact of the lifesaving work and generosity of our donor hero families, staff, ambassadors, and community partners.
This award belongs not just to NMDS staff, but to every advocate who makes donation possible. Because of your generosity:
- In 2024 alone, NMDS facilitated 90 organ donors whose gifts resulted in 207 lifesaving transplants.
- Hundreds more received tissue and birth-tissue donation which helped improve or restore the quality of life.
- We also proudly supported hundreds of donor hero families last year through bereavement care, memorials, and ongoing community support.
