Grief support
Learning to live with loss is difficult. Our staff can assist families with bereavement materials, direct them to local support groups and provide information on how the donation was able to benefit those in need. Here are resources that may be helpful.
New Mexico United Soccer and the Somos Unidos Foundation are teaming up with Donate Life New Mexico to help save lives.
We’ve unveiled the ‘United to Save Lives’ hot air balloon. The goal (pun intended) is to help raise awareness surround everyone’s ability to help save lives through organ donation and transplantation.
Our hot air balloon named “Stairway to Heaven” displays a banner featuring the inspirational message, “United to Save Lives” and flies in the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
It’s a banner that’s 16 feet long and 23 feet wide. That’s nearly as tall as an adult giraffe and as long as three king size mattresses put end-to-end. This unique partnership garners hundreds of thousands of viewers attending the annual fiesta, and has already resulted in at least 50 newly registered organ donors. Stairway to Heaven and its pilot Rick Ferrall are from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
